How do I find the correct battery for my watch?

There are two main types of watch batteries - single use and rechargeable. Most watches use single use silver oxide batteries. Some watches use larger button cells.

Rechargeable watch batteries are used in solar power and kinetic powered watches such as the Citizen Eco-Drive, Casio Solar Powered watches or Seiko Kinetic watches.
